In the first month of 2016 where we’re dominated by “Best of Lists”, why not just add on and introduce a few new inspirations that we’re following to kick-start the year? Enjoy!
+ CAFE NO MA +
We love how freelance stylist – Nobuka Yuba – whose work often features coffee, designed her apartment based on that one love of hers. She has successfully brought all of the comforts of a café into her home, filling the space with various nods to coffee culture-collections of espresso cups, an industrial cafe table, and even a light fixture in the shape of a porcelain teapot.
+ LOST BOYS LIFE +
Not quite sure why she named her work and project Lost Boys Life but we are certainly drawn to her doodles and cute little cards. A little haphazard and random but hey, we all need times like this in our lives.
+ THE MERRY THOUGHT +
Founded by Caitlin and Manda, this Western New York-based lifestyle site devoted to simple living is a new treasure we just chanced upon. Lots of good reading, creative and useful DIY projects (which is just right up our alley!) as well as recipes and tips on fashion, home decor, travels and more. We can’t help but keep coming back!
+ THREADHONEY +
Textile and pop culture enthusiast, Jenn Riggs, started her little embroidery project a while back and it just keeps getting better. We sure wished we had stitching skills like that. A little stitch a day keeps our troubles away!
